The porcupine creek trail starts 5 5 km along the jesmond road. A california campfire permit is required and are available at any. The 11 3km 7mi sepa lakes trail near 108 mile ranch meanders past bays and lagoons filled with waterfowl. Wilderness permits are not required for trips into the marble mountain wilderness.

The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from august until september. A signed backroad winds up past the powerline and into the two mile creek valley then over to porcupine creek. In june 2014 i loaded up with a friend and headed for marble range provincial park for an overnight trip on the wild horse ridge near mount kerr.
